Super Bad – Born to Prove a Point

When we built Super Bad, it wasn’t to win a trophy — it was to prove a point. From the beginning, Super Bad was conceived as a purpose-driven build designed to test, validate, and ultimately showcase the limits of our exclusive Badass Broncos chassis system.

This was not a cosmetic showpiece. Super Bad was engineered as a rolling R&D platform — a real-world test mule that allowed our team to push geometry, rigidity, suspension travel, and driveline integration to levels never before applied to a classic Gen 1 Bronco.

At the heart of Super Bad is the Badass Broncos proprietary chassis, designed in-house to eliminate frame flex, correct suspension geometry, and support serious modern horsepower. This foundation allowed us to integrate a Coyote 5.0L V8 drivetrain, coilover suspension, large-diameter brakes, and modern steering systems while maintaining predictable handling and street manners.

The build quickly evolved from a development project into a statement. Every detail — from stance to paint depth to interior finish — was executed with intent. The result was a Bronco that could be driven hard, displayed proudly, and trusted implicitly.

Super Bad earned a Top 12 finalist position in the 2025 SEMA Battle of the Builders, an extraordinary accomplishment for a vintage SUV competing against modern supercars and elite muscle builds. The truck was also selected for multiple photo shoots and video reviews, placing it among the most respected vehicles at the SEMA Show.

Today, Super Bad stands as proof that our approach works. It validated our chassis program, elevated the Badass Broncos brand, and set the technical foundation for everything we build moving forward. More than a show truck, Super Bad is a benchmark — a rolling example of what happens when engineering, craftsmanship, and purpose align.
